National Office Disaster Management Scorecard

The National Office Disaster Management Scorecard is a self-assessment tool. It is meant to be a tool for managers and leaders within the National Office (NO) to give them a “snapshot” of the areas deemed critical for successful disaster management.

  • This is an online version of what used to be the Excel tool.
  • It is used annually (at minimum) as a diagnostic tool to help focus on disaster management (DM) capacity development.
  • It is not meant to be a comparative tool between NOs, but rather for each NO to shape disaster management for its unique context and to improve year to year.
