The National Office Disaster Management Scorecard is a self-assessment tool. It is meant to be a tool for managers and leaders within the National Office (NO) to give them a “snapshot” of the areas deemed critical for successful disaster management.
This is an online version of what used to be the Excel tool.
It is used annually (at minimum) as a diagnostic tool to help focus on disaster management (DM) capacity development.
It is not meant to be a comparative tool between NOs, but rather for each NO to shape disaster management for its unique context and to improve year to year.
The NO DM Scorecard access is restricted to staff involved in the DM Scorecard process. If you need access, kindly contact your Regional Disaster Management staff or the Global Disaster Management Team via [email protected]
